Tempo d’Eole
For over ten years, the Brabant-based company Tempo d’Eole has been enchanting audiences with shows under its big top, where the elegance and strength of horses blend with circus arts, storytelling, theatre, and music, delighting both young and old.
In this new creation, the collective brings together five acrobats, a musician, a dog, and four horses for a breathtaking performance.
As the show begins, the whip of the man who controls this little machine cracks. The horses are harnessed, the girls are graceful, and the boys are strong. An incessant ballet combining circus, acrobatics, and horse training teeters on the edge of frenzy. From excess comes downfall: costumes are torn, makeup runs. The whirlwind sweeps away bodies and shatters the existing balance.
The company draws inspiration from the traditional circus, reflecting a hierarchical and patriarchal society. Gradually, order gives way to disorder, opening the door to a more harmonious imagination. This twirling experience is not to be missed!
