Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston — where icons like Quincy Jones also studied — Margaux Vranken has grown through encounters with major jazz figures such as David Binney and Anat Cohen. A singular artist, she has been making her mark on the jazz scene with a distinctive career.

At the invitation of the Royal Festival, she designs a carte blanche that fully reflects her world: a refined jazz, infused with songwriting and American influences.

She presents a selection of her original compositions — from intimate ballads to swinging rhythms and lush orchestral textures. The piano-strings pairing, familiar from her earlier projects, takes on new scale here in a format both delicate and full of complicity. The warm voice of Stacy Claire blends in gracefully, for a joyful, sensitive and accessible evening for everyone.
