Ferdi is the new sensation on the jazz scene. At just 25, this Brussels-based saxophonist has shaken up the norms and electrified the airwaves. Introduced to the wider public with a standout performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2023 with his track 5h34, he now confirms his full talent with Take 01, his first solo album, praised for its freshness, freedom and confident groove.

Spotted through his collaborations with Sofiane Pamart, Peet, Dabeull or Béesau, with whom he shared the stage at Royal Festival in 2023, Ferdi is forging a sound all his own. With influences from jazz, funk, pop and hip-hop, he offers a music that is free, hybrid and festive — made to bring people together. Inspired by Kamasi Washington or Terrace Martin, he brings the saxophone back to its rightful place: as a vibrant, accessible and thrilling instrument.
